Apart from the cot the buggy, car seat and pram are probably the most important buys you'll make for your baby. Travel systems are here to make this a lot simpler for you, by combining 3 necessities into 1.

I want to tell you about the brilliant brand that is well known and trusted by millions of parents in Germany, but hasn't really had an impact here in the UK yet. Which means you will get a really good quality travel system for under £200!

Why does is make sense to buy a travel system instead of buying everything individually?

Well for starters you will safe money by buying a travel system and if you buy the right kind it should last you until the baby can walk by itself.

If you've come to this page then you are probably in the middle of doing research on travel systems. And I understand your pain, I was in your situation 2 years ago and I was shocked when I saw the prices! Some people spend over £1000 for their travel system, which is outrageous, you could buy a proper car with that kind of money.

However, you're also here because you've seen that I got my travel system for under £200 and are hopefully interested in finding out more about this craziness.

First of all: Yes, it's true. I spent under £200 for my travel system.

Growing up in Germany I had heard of the brand Hauck, both my sisters where pushed around in Hauck buggies. So I know it is a good quality brand and was relieved to see all of their products are very reasonably priced. We even got our high chair from Hauck.

So here are the features of Shopper SLX Trio.

First of all the car seat; it's the 0+ size so it will last until your baby weighs roughly 11Kgs. You don't have to buy a separate fitting for your car it only needs the seat belt. And don't worry about safety, it's perfectly safe and very secure.

It comes with a 3 point harness that can be adjusted as your baby grows. The car seat easily clicks on to the buggy bit making it very easy and a lot let hassle to take your baby out on for example shopping trips.

The pram attachment I only used for 5 months and then my son wanted to see the world as I pushed him along in the buggy. The pram is a good size and collapsible so it did fit into our Renault Clio. Again the pram attaches very easily to the buggy.

The buggy is the bit you will use the most and I still use it, my son is nearly 3! So we got our moneys worth out of this excellent travel system.

The buggy is comfortable, judging from the many naps my son has had in it. The buggy has a five point harness, keeping your child safe there is absolutely no need to worry they will slide out of the buggy.

It is very easy to manoeuvre, making it ideal to use in busy places like a supermarket. We've also used it while walking in the park or a muddy forest. This buggy has been everywhere with us and not one time have we had to leave it and carry our son instead. I really can't fault it.

This travel system is a great product and you'd be as impressed with it as we have been!
